Illegal Afters Tracks label head ‘nohup’ joins Particle FM resident Jennifer Spektor for more genre-bending madness since their recent duo debut on our station 🥂 ‘nohup’ is a DJ, producer, multimedia artist and community builder based out of Seattle, WA. Jennifer Spektor is an artist, DJ, poet, writer, and art therapist. She has a monthly radio show, Echolocation on Particle FM. 🔊 We are equally excited to invite Modern Heart residents Daphne Too and Sepha for more back to back excitement 💞 Both aritsts operate recurring night Modern Heart, which centers connections between club music, house, garage, and more. They performed together for the Tacoma Alder Arts Walk Festival in 2023 as their b2b debut. Sepha has tracks appearing on JukeBounceWerk, EAT DIS, as well as a number of independent releases. Daphne recently played KUPS 90.1FM’s “KUPSFest” one-night mini-festival. 💫 Particle FM founder and host Atrevido joins D. Stu aka Disco Stu for a special vinyl b2b opener ✌️ Disco Stu has hosted One Nation Under A Groove for the past two years, inviting over 24 guests from the Seattle region and beyond. Disco Stu uses his radio show to platform underrepresented artists in the greater dance underground which inspired this showcase event to come to life. 🤝

Subsquatica

Opulent Temple presents Subquatica for a second year! Imagine a world where the ocean floor is the hottest club scene, and the DJ is none other than DJ Jelly J, spinning the sickest beats with his eight tentacle turntables. The dance floor is a kaleidoscope of bioluminescent disco lights, courtesy of the glow-in-the-dark plankton. Fish of all shapes and sizes are grooving to the ‘current’ hits, while the sharks, the bouncers of this underwater bash, ensure no one’s causing any ‘reef’. The coral is pulsating in rhythm, and every now and then, a curious dolphin drops by, clicking and whistling along, trying to request a song but ends up accidentally taking a selfie with the starfish. It’s a shell of a party where the dress code strictly says ‘no fishing nets’ and the only thing getting hooked is the catchy chorus of the latest sand dollar single, “Clam Up and Dance!”
